Terms of Use

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Kutip, operated by KUTIP. By creating a collection or paying into one, you agree to them. Questions: kutip0818@outlook.com.

What Kutip is, and isn't

Kutip is a record-keeping tool. It shows a group who has paid into a collection. Members pay the organiser directly from their own bank or e-wallet. Kutip never receives, holds or moves money, and isn't a bank, e-wallet or payment service.

If you organise a collection

  • Use Kutip only for groups you know, such as clubs, offices, classes, residents and families.
  • Don't use Kutip to collect from the public, for charities or donations, or for anything unlawful.
  • Make sure your payment details are correct and that the people you list are happy to be listed.
  • Check payments in your own bank account. Kutip's receipt checks help spot mistakes, but they can't prove a payment arrived, and you have the final say on every payment.
  • Deal fairly with refunds and disputes with your members. They are between you and them.

If you pay into a collection

  • Only pay people you know and trust. Kutip doesn't vouch for organisers.
  • Upload only your own genuine receipts.
  • If something looks wrong, use the Report button on the collection page.

Things you must not do

  • Run scams or impersonate someone else.
  • Upload fake or altered receipts, or other people's data without permission.
  • Harass anyone, or try to break, overload or get around Kutip's security.

We may remove collections and suspend accounts that break these terms or that we reasonably believe put people at risk.

Plans

The free plan has the limits shown on our website. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show their price clearly before you buy, and you can choose whether to upgrade.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Kutip accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from payments between organisers and members, from mistakes in receipt reading, or from Kutip being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Malaysian consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll say so on the website. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
