Questions treasurers ask

Does Kutip hold or move our money?

No. Members pay you directly from their own bank or e-wallet by DuitNow, exactly as they do today. Kutip only records who has paid, so it never touches the money and charges nothing on transfers.

Do members need to download anything or sign up?

No. They open the link you share in WhatsApp, tap their name, pay, and upload the receipt screenshot. Only organisers sign in, with Google or an email link.

Which banks work?

Any bank or e-wallet that supports DuitNow: Maybank, CIMB, Public Bank, RHB, Hong Leong, AmBank, Bank Islam, GXBank, Touch 'n Go eWallet and more.

What if someone pays in cash?

Tap Cash next to their name on your board. Everyone's total stays correct.

Can a fake receipt get through?

Kutip checks the amount, date, recipient and reference number of every receipt, and flags anything odd for you. You always have the final say, so check your bank app before confirming a flagged payment.

What happens to the receipts?

Only the organiser can see them. They are deleted 90 days after a collection closes. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
